General Information
These terms and conditions outline Jamaya’s procedures and policies. For information about data protection and your privacy, please refer to the Privacy Notice.
1. Confirmation of Reservation Policy
Reservations can be made with Jamaya online (via the website), and in person at the restaurant.
Jamaya does the following to confirm a guest reservation:
(1) Send email confirmation upon booking
(2) Send a second email the day before the reservation, to reconfirm
(3) Contact guests (with the contact details provided) who have not confirmed to the above
If after the above attempts, the reservation remains unconfirmed, we may give the booked table away.
2. Cancellation and No-Show Policy
If you need to make a cancellation, or amend your existing reservation, we kindly ask that you do so at least 24 hours beforehand. This is so Jamaya can manage its service and busy footfall.
For no-shows and late cancellations (cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance), you will be subject to a charge of £10 per person. This will be applied to the payment card on file.
Please note, tables will be held for up to 15 minutes, from the time it is booked (before a chargeable cancellation).
3. Requested Booking Policy
Please be aware that ‘requests’ are treated as enquires only, and not confirmation of reservations at Jamaya.
For any reservations where we are fully booked at your requested time, we can keep your details on file, until the reservation date. If we receive a cancellation for your selected time and date, we can contact you and ask if you would like to confirm your reservation with Jamaya.
Please note, we will try to accommodate any seating requests; but we cannot guarantee a specific area of the restaurant for you.

4. COVID-19 Statement
Jamaya prioritises the health and safety of every team member and guest, and is committed to following government guidelines and advice, to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
The restaurant has implemented a number of processes and measures, for your peace of mind and assurance. This includes adequate cleaning and hygiene practises, the use of PPE equipment where necessary, and restriction of any individuals entering the restaurant premises, who present symptoms of COVID-19.
If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please refrain from visiting the restaurant, until it is safe for you and your guests to do so. If you arrive at the restaurant with clear symptoms, we are obliged to ask you to leave until you have recovered; and thank you for your patience and co-operation.
5. Allergens
Please notify us of any guests with dietary requirements and/ or allergies. Detailed information on the 14 legal allergens is available on request. We do not record information on any other allergens.
Please note, Jamaya cannot guarantee that our dishes are 100% free from traces, as cross contamination can occur.
6. Cakes
Guests are welcome to bring their own Birthday cakes to be stored and served by the restaurant staff. We do not accept any responsibility for any allergic reactions or food-related issues for anything brought into the restaurant by the guests.
7. Decorations
Currently, we do not allow balloons or table decorations from guests, to be used in the restaurant. For further information, please speak to a dedicated team member, on site.
8. Bottomless Brunch
Bottomless brunch allows a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 6 people dining. Last seating for bottomless brunch is 3:30pm. Choose two food items per person and limitless drinks from the brunch menu, only 1 jug shared between 2 people at a time, no substitutions permitted unless for allergens – please speak to a manager. 90 minutes time slot begins when first drinks order is ordered. All parties should be present within 15 minutes of reservation time, failure to all be present may reduce the 90 minute slot time. Guests must be 18yrs+ to enjoy this menu. Please drink responsibly.
9. Offers/Discounts/Vouchers/Gift Cards
We accept many discounts through selected affiliate partners. To redeem, proof of membership at the correct tier is required; prints, photocopies or screenshots cannot be accepted. Any discount applied using a voucher or selected affiliate partners cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or promotions. Discounts can only be applied to drinks and a la carte menu. Discounts/Vouchers where eligible is applied to the total bill, the table must be reserved in advance, a maximum party size of 6 people/main meals and drinks. Only one discount/voucher can be used per day per table. Vouchers and affiliate discounts are only applicable Sunday to Thursday – excluding Bank Holidays, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. JAMAYA gift cards purchased online (e-gift) or in person cannot be used to purchase additional gift cards; change will not be given for unused amounts on physical JAMAYA gift cards, JAMAYA e-gift card purchases will retain unused amounts until depleted to zero from customer use.
10. Friday and Saturday Evenings
The venues operates a Challenge 25 policy in accordance to the Licensing Act 2003.
Birmingham Colmore Row restaurant ONLY; After 7:30pm, no children under the age of 14 years old will be permitted into the venue. No hats, hoods or tracksuits will be permitted after this time- Dress code applies to Birmingham Colmore Row only. Management reserves the right to refuse entry.
11. Deposits
Any deposit(s) paid to secure reservations will be redeemed against the total bill only. Deposit cannot be split across separate bills. Deposit(s) cannot be transferred to another day or person. Where a refund of deposit(s) is permitted, this will be returned via the original method of payment and will have to satisfy the cancellation policy.
12. Corkage
Alcohol not purchased at the venue cannot be consumed on the premises.
